HOW IT WORKS

HOW IT WORKS

  • A fuel probe is installed in the plant’s tank to measure the fuel level on a real-time basis.

  • A fuel probe and Refuel’s digitally-controlled pump are installed on each mobile bowser that delivers diesel to the plant.

  • Each probe, on an automated basis, wirelessly communicates fuel levels to a gateway which is installed on the plant or bowser.

  • The sensor, GPS and gateway are wired directly into the battery of the plant and a battery set is provided for the bowser pump if required.

  • The level gauge provides real time access to the fuel tank level.

PROCESS FLOW

Reporting of real-time stock on hand. The rate of consumption at the plant is monitored on an automated and ongoing basis through the fuel probe and software.

An automated order recommendation is issued whenever the threshold fuel level is reached, or orders can be activated on a manual basis.

An order confirmation is generated and sent through via the Refuel IoT website.

This order is able to be fulfilled through any linked mobile bowser/ truck with Refuel’s system installed via the Refuel proprietary Refueler mobile app. The pumps are controlled via Refuel’s proprietary technology.

RECEIVING

When an order is activated, volumes on both dispensing and receiving devices are recorded before fuel is dispensed. The system then reconciles dispensed volume with received volume to ensure accuracy. Delivery variances are recorded and notifications are sent for any discrepancies. The system also generates electronic proof of delivery with timestamps for each order.
